The Longhorn Rod Run Returns to Old Town Spring

Get ready, classic car fans! The Longhorn Rod Run is roaring back into Old Town Spring on April 27th, 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm. After a hiatus, this favorite car show, a staple in Texas for 20 years, is making its triumphant return.
Originally launched in 1995 and a fixture until 2015, the Longhorn Rod Run holds a special place in the hearts of car aficionados. Its prime location in historic Old Town Spring offered the perfect blend of classic cars, shopping, dining, and entertainment for the entire family. With a nostalgic theme of “Hopping back to the 50’s and 60’s,” attendees can immerse themselves in an atmosphere of retro fun.
The Visitors Guide of Old Town Spring is thrilled to revive this popular event, starting with a one-day show on April 27th. Mark your calendars for September 21-22nd, when the Longhorn Rod Run expands into a two-day extravaganza, reminiscent of its original format.
TRIK Industries in Spring will serve as title sponsor for the April show. Registration is already open. Visit www.longhornrodrun.com to secure your spot. Pre-register for just $15 per car or pay $20 at the gate. Check-in starts at 8 am, and there’s a lineup of fantastic activities awaiting you in Old Town Spring.
